Accessibility statement

Last updated: 27 June 2026

Apprenticeships are for everyone, so Journey is built to be usable by everyone. We are committed to meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across the platform and this marketing site.

What we do

  • Design and test against WCAG 2.2 AA, including colour contrast, focus visibility and target size.
  • Support full keyboard operation and meaningful structure for screen readers, with sensible headings and labels.
  • Avoid conveying information by colour alone and respect reduced-motion preferences.
  • Bake accessibility checks into our build and review process rather than treating them as an afterthought.

Known limitations

Some third-party or embedded content may not yet fully meet AA. Where we find gaps, we prioritise and fix them. If something blocks you, please tell us and we will help and remediate.

Reasonable adjustments

Journey supports recording and acting on learners' reasonable adjustments and inclusion needs, so providers can deliver an accessible experience to apprentices as well as staff.

Feedback

If you experience an accessibility barrier, email accessibility@journeyapp.co.uk. We aim to respond within five working days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
