Illustrative provider dashboard with sample data.
Journey gives UK apprenticeship training providers a single platform for the whole lifecycle — MIS, e-portfolio and OTJ, ILR and funding, EPA and gateway, and Ofsted-ready compliance — with hard tenant isolation, RBAC and an append-only audit log. Journey is independent software and is not DfE or Ofsted approved. It does not guarantee funding or inspection outcomes.
Enrolment to achievement on one record, so nothing is lost between an MIS, an e-portfolio and spreadsheets.
Funding-sensitive figures are computed server-side against versioned rule packs, with an evidence pack per figure.
Self-assessment, safeguarding and quality evidence built around the November 2025 Ofsted framework.
Journey Core is free under 50 active learners, with £0 platform fee at scale via a Value Pillar.
Most providers run apprenticeships across an MIS, an e-portfolio, an off-the-job tracker, a funding spreadsheet and a pile of compliance documents. Each handover between them is a place where data drifts and time is lost. Journey brings the whole lifecycle — enrolment to achievement — onto one audited record, so delivery, funding and compliance all read from the same data rather than reconciling several copies.
That single spine is what makes the rest possible: per-role dashboards that make the next action obvious, funding computed against the right rules, and inspection evidence that is a by-product of delivery rather than a separate project.
Every provider is a hard-isolated tenant, so your data is never visible to another provider. Role-based access control governs who sees what inside your organisation, learner personal data sits behind specific permissions, and an append-only audit log records every change against the person who made it. These are not add-ons; they are the foundation the platform is built on, because regulated learner and funding data demands it.
Journey Core is free for providers with under 50 active learners, so smaller providers can run their whole provision without a platform fee. Above that, providers get a £0 platform fee through a Value Pillar — a fixed 10% commercial fee tied to the value of the service you choose — or through the Strategic Partner Plan. Access is granted to verified UK training providers, and the team sets up your tenant when you book a demo.
Funding-safe and audit-ready by design
Every record is scoped to your organisation on each read and write — one provider can never see another's data.
Every state change is recorded against the real person who made it, so the history stands up at audit.
Funding is computed server-side against the right year for each start date — 2024/25 and 2025/26, and built to adopt the 2026/27 pack now published by the DWP.
AI is metered per tenant, prompts are scrubbed of learner PII and outputs are validated, falling back gracefully.
Built and operated by a UK company to externally-audited information-security standards.
No lock-in: export your data whenever you like, and your employer relationships always remain yours.
